I'm also having lip sync issues. Audio seems to be delayed behind the picture. It is fine after the box gets restarted but gradually gets worse.

I only just got Sky Q. Until recently had Sky + and all was fine with that.

I think this is a software issue on Sky Q as it seems many people have started seeing this issue. Sky need to solve this or they will be losing my business.

I have recently had my broadband updated to full fibre optic to try & help with lip sync issues but it hasnt made a difference. I have a sky Q box in my bar which is hard wired by cat 5 E cable but im still getting lip sync issues when watching movies. I have tried to adjust the TV but again its made no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing the issue?

Is it worth changing the cable to Cat 6?

Modern TV's can perform a lot of processing before displaying a picture - a good set should also delay the audio accordingly, but not always. Turning off this processing can reduce the issue if so.

As noted above there are settings on the Q box to delay the audio (assuming that's the correct direction).

To all, two things to try; if your Sky box is connected directly to your tv make sure the audio setting within the TV's menu is set to passthrough, not Dolby Digital. Another way, for those with a soundbar, is to try connecting the sky box directly to your soundbar which in turn should be connected to your tv's eARC port. Make sure eARC is turned on also..
