Have no satellite signal, anyone in the SS7 area with the same problem? I have switched everything on and off but still says no signal, it has been out since yesterday. I know the winds are bad but wondering if the dish needs realigned.

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking a Engineer.
Alternately, if you are on a Communal Dish you will need to contact your Landlord or Management company.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q

A No satellite signal is not specific to an area.

Could be a dish/lnb misalignment caused by the recent storms.

Work through the following link and if you cannot solve your issue it will lead to booking an engineer.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q

In view of the recent weather, it's most likely because your dish has moved slightly. If you follow the link previously posted, you'll be walked through some diagnostic tests, and ultimately be able to book, an engineer.

I believe the grace period is now much longer than it used to be, specifically to cope with the effect of increasing storm frequency and severity (plus, realistically, reduced numbers of Sky satellite dish installers)
