The 10 bit resolution carries HDR, so if your TV does not switch on HDR the picture will be dark. Quick solution is change it to 8 bit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which box do you have? Home -&amp;gt; Settings -&amp;gt; System info -&amp;gt; Hardware version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There could be lots of reasons why your TV is not recoginising HDR switching. It needs to be a quality set with a high peak brightness.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have just subscribed to UHD and didn't realise you had to set it up but I have and the picture is a lot darker on UHD do you know why ???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
