Mini Box Setup

Sky Q Minibox Setup: New mini box. Router is BT and Smart LG TV that I want to connect to is a couple of feet away from the router. Main Sky Q box is other end of the house on a satellite dish. Signals don't travel well but I have an extender for Wi-Fi. Followed set up instruction but nothing come up on screen my LG. Can anyone help please?
