Sky Q mini as main TV

hi folks,

first time contributor.

My TV is not close enough to where the sky cables come into my house and getting sick of the cables.

if I plug in my main Sky Q box near the router and where the Sky comes without a TV and plug a mini Q to main TV... will this solve my issues with cables?

I have looked at wireless HDMI but seems that won't work.

Yes, you can do that. Just to note that the mini's do not support UHD if that's something you have.

Sorry I should be clear, my plan is to plug in my main Sky Q box without A TV but powered on.

I'm not worried about UHD.

thank you for the reply, is it likely to cause any issues or me having to connect a TV to the main Q box?

Yes you can do that. As long as the main box has satellite feeds then the mini can be used.
