I am moving my TV to the other side of the room. My cable connecting theSkyQ box to the aerial/dish will be too short by several metres.

What are my options; can I stream the signal to my box without using a cable , (my preference), or failing that can I get an extension to the cable...?

No.

Yes (available at good retailers) or pay Sky around £65 to move it properly.

No you cannot stream content to your Qbox @CaptainC1.

Satellite extension cables of various lengths are readily available online.
