Disney+ poor picture through sky Q box but great direct through Disney+ app on Samsung tv (so not the tv or broadband)Also takes hours to download film/tv programme! Is it the sky Q box? We are with BT and download speed and connection is fine

Hi, I'm having the same problem starting today. The colour looks very dull when viewing Disney+ through the Sky Q app. TV set up the same as always.

When using the LG TV Disney+ app the picture is vibrant.

I know you don't get full 4k through the Sky Q app but there is a noticeable decrease in quality, colour and brightness.

The apps on Sky Q are there for convenience not quality. It is primarily a satellite PVR (an excellent one too), but streaming from apps is a secondary concern.

To get the best quality output from apps, always use the ones built in to your smart TV or on a dedicated streaming device.
