I've had it happen more than once, multiple different apps have just gone to a black screen in the middle of watching something and I've even had to turn off sky to get it to work again. In some cases the box has gone through a reset which means me waiting longer before I can go back and finish what I was watching.

@JamieG29

Not much consolation at this stage but, you are not alone, there are a range of issues with apps including black screen or pixelation and there are multiple threads on the forum covering this.

But, it doesn't seem to affect everyone or consistently. I believe Sky are working on future updates that will try to stop these issues, but until then I would recommend using another device (such as your TV), if possible, for app viewing.

Do check your box is up to date but beyond that, there isn't much you can do currently sadly.
