When watching on several apps the picture glitches and sometimes rewinds a couple of seconds

Thought the TV was the problem but my husband thinks it must be the sky box that is causing problems when viewing. Also when fast forwaring and rewinding it is very glitchy.

Are you able to remotely tell if the box is the problem?
