&lt;P&gt;Reset your Q box remote by pressing&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;and holding 7 &amp;amp; 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes. &amp;nbsp; However the remote must be pointed directly at the Q box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Switch your Q box back on and you then you should be able to get past the setup issues.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once you get the Q box working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 &amp;amp; 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tracked down the link, another way and followed your instructions and got to reset the remote control and then I had to switch off and on the SkyQ box and service was resumed&amp;nbsp; Thank You. I have had no service since 15th October.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sky Q remotes&lt;BR /&gt;My Sky Q remote won't control my Sky Q box&lt;BR /&gt;1. Check your batteries and buttons2. Check your box3. Re-pair your remote4. Restart your Sky Q box5. Virtual remote&lt;BR /&gt;Check your box&lt;BR /&gt;If you're still having problems with your remote, check to see if there's a problem with your Sky Q box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Press the standby button on the front panel of your Sky Q box. The light should either turn from green to amber, or from red or amber to green.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
