My tv screen is blank and / or fuzzy, my sky box is on and I don't know if my satellite dish is working, I don't have any error messages so wonder if it's the tv? Its 19 years old?!

Could be the TV at that age, but worth checking the HDMI cable first, can you change it for a different one?

What happens if you plug the Q box into a different port on the TV?

When was the last time you power cycled the box (unplug at the mains for at least 5 minutes)? Is your box software up to date?

Worth checking these things first as they will be slightly cheaper than a new TV!
