topic My Sky Q keeps dropping out in Sky Q

I have a Sky Q black router and a Sky 300 Mbps broadband contract and have been led to believe it all forms a mesh with my mini box which is in an upstairs bedroom. Due to having quite thick walls I also have a white signal booster, bit I still get drop outs and lose of connectivity on the mini box and main Q 2TB box downstairs. I've had two engineers visit and they say it may have something within the walls that's inhibiting the WiFi and causing the problems. If the main box is hardwired to the Q box will this make a difference to the connectivity to the mini, or will the mini also need to be hardwired and both boxes wifi turned off.
