My dish requires replacing due to age and we've lost connectivity. I've arranged an engineer but now I've lost all sky functions. Is this because the box has no signal? Surely I should still be able to watch recordings or on demand?

Hi @baz.rich5424

Afraid a Q box will cease to function without a Satellite signal after a period of time as it needs a periodic communication with Sky via satellite.
