Hi can anyone help please

Is it possible to connect a sky q mini multiroom without internet ? I dont have internet to the main box in the living room

hi @Tj471

You don't need internet but the main box must be connected to a router, as the router provides the IP addresses for them to comunicate

Thankyou so i do need internet to the main box to connect them ? As i dont currently have internet connection to the main box

hi @Tj471 no the router doesn't need to be connected to the internet but you must have a router to enable the SKY Q boxes to talk to each other

Edit : BTW The mini does need an internet connection to work in the first place (i.e. initial authorisation) but AFAIK once it has been working it no longer needs connection to the internet
