hi @Clare20241

This may seem totally counter-intuitive but the solution is to select Welsh as the language

Settings - Setup - Audio Visual - Audio Language

Then when English is available you will get English commentary

We have tried this before but it does not seem to work

S4C says

Accessing English language commentary - Sky Q

Press the Home Button on the remote

Scroll down using the arrow buttons to Settings press the centre button to select it.

Scroll to Set Up and press the centre button to select it.

Scroll to Preferences and select Go to Audio Language press the centre button and change it from English to Welsh, also make sure Audio Description is set to off.

This will ensure you have English language commentary on S4C when it is available automatically.

When English commentary is available press the red button then select it from the onscreen graphics.

Although I don;t watch S4C other than to check this it has always worked when I checked.

Also history on here would also confirm this works for others too

I watched the Wales - Montenegro game last night and got English commentary by selecting the Red Button as prompted on-screen. The mini menu that appeared was in Welsh, so I've no idea which option switched it to English, but one of them did
