Hi All,

I've got a SKY Q box and I recently had GoFibre installed (they are the only company to offer fibre broadband in my area). Installation of GoFibre was a trial in itself (several appointments missed and various days off work), but got installed eventually. GoFibre engineer connected it to the Sky box and off I went.

Shortly after I noticed that various apps through Sky (primarily Disney+ and Amazon Prime) started pixellating intermediately. It happened often enough that I would access the apps directly through my smart tv, where the problem was absent. No problems with any other device. Ran a speed-test - no problems there.

Contacted Sky who sent out two engineers. They couldn't fix the problem so ordered a new Sky Q box - problem still persisted. Tried connecting directly to router with an ethernet cable. Problem still presists. GoFibre keeps telling me it's a Sky issue and has exhausted all it's trouble-shooting. Any advise on how to fix this issue?

hi @Gabriel1980 , there is an issue with the original SkyQ boxes showing artifacts on streaming channels and it been going on for 3 months now.

Some users, including me, have reported the problem is solved by changing the Q box out for a version 2 unit; this unit has an external PSU.

What hardware version is your replacement box?
