Sky Q mini box not working

One of my sky Q mini boxes light won't change from red. The remote is working and has new batteries. I've tried the reset button

any ideas?

@RKB1977 Have you tried resetting your Sky box? If not turn it off either at the plug or pull out the power cable. Leave if off for at least 30 seconds then plug back in again and follow the on screen instructions until it has reloaded.

So you mean the main sky box or the mini box I have the issue with?

@RKB1977 I was meaning your mini box, but if that doesn't sort it do both boxes. I know it sounds like the 'turn it on turn it off again' joke, but in Sky's case this often sorts the problem.

One thing to note keep your tv on then you can follow the on screen instructions but at some point it will tell you to turn back on when the screen goes blank. In reality I find it takes a couple of minutes after it goes blank before it will let you turn on.
