no apps showing on my new sky q box

I have today rejoined skuy after an absense of a couple of years.

The engineer came fittesd the dish anplugged sky box in and added to the home. network = brilliant

Now stcrolling through I cant see any apps other than the sky?

I have prime, already have netflix and believe I have already added that to my account via the online link, and also have disney - but no apps showing on the sky box for me to put the log in details and add them,

Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

I have had the problem of no apps on my Sky q box engineer came out could not fix it . Referred it to the tec guys I surgest ring sky

Just thought I would update here

I did the update etc,.. and made no difference so called sky and they went through all of the run update etc... and didnt make any fdifference for them

So an internal form filled in and now waiting for things to be looked at from there end to apply the apps - I am promised a call back monday

so question is I am the only person this has happened to or is it a fairly usual occurance?

The engineer came out could not fix it had a text from Sky we will inform you with updates that was Monday it is now Thursday and it is not connecting to my Sky Q mini box

Hi @Richard183

Rfreshing the Apps is in the Hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Select Apps 
then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box.
You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing
It’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.

Refresh Apps can take up to 24 hrs to complete .

i got the admin menu and selected refresh apps so now waiting 🙂

Glad you are now sorted - it is a shame it sometimes takes quite a while for the refresh to work

All my apps were missing, i did 2 things:

1) called sky, who ran through everything I had already done then said they would call in a couple of days as things could update their end

2) followed the advice here and refreshed the apps,

following day apps were there and all present, so cant 100 percent say which, but i believe it was the advice on this thread to go into the admin mode and refresh apps

Apps 4 & 5 missing off skyQ mini box but got bbc I player and Itv x will investigate when have time, any number for sky tech dept would be fantastic
