Am unable to watch Sky + football due to a WGT8 error code despite having a brand new sky box today

Had a new sky box delivered today as my last one packed up. Previously been able to watch Sky+ matches without any problems but now have WGT8 error code. Is there any way I can sort this? I am still using the old sky card as I didn't get given a new one.

@josiejo6 try updating the software on the new Q box by pressing the home button then settings>system info. >software version> setup

Hi @josiejo6 Note it is Sky Sports+ but the chances are a new box needs updating to the Q270 software. Check your software version, Home -> Settings-> System info -> Software version.

I also have had a new Q box installed today and can't get the football with same error. Engineer updated box I saw it with my own eyes. This is very annoying

My box has Q270.000.10.02L software and box was installed today and still get same error message
