@Big+jeff it may just be early teething problem shouldn't happen but sometimes these things happen

I watched the Lincoln City game, froze a couple of times for 1 second but agree the picture quality isn't the best... Although it does appear to be 50fps which is nice...

Same here froze for a couple of minutes whilst watching Super League Rugby. Then shuts down after an hour.

Today picture aspect went crazy and I had to shut it down to get it back.

It's the same on a tennis stream, it occasionally freezes for a second. Never had this problem on discovery plus throughout the Olympics. Sky has to up its game asap

Expect better from Sky given the size of the comprehensive and experience in streaming /broadcasting. It's bordering on unwatchable

It's stop/start on mine and I've a 1gb line. In general all the apps on Sky like Netflix/Prime are unwatchable, it's just too slow

It keeps freezing for me on the football and tennis streams. This is very poor from sky, this doesn't happen on other streaming services

Watching Lincoln. Keeps freezing and then jumping a minute ahead, before jumping back a minute or so. In between these issues it regularly drops to a resolution I can't even see what's happening. Virtually unwatchable.

I have a gigabit line up and down.

Agreed, it's been awful so far. It freezes every few seconds and ends up with the stream still going on a few minutes after the game has ended, with alerts from sky sports and bbc sports saying the game has ended while the glitchy stream is still stuttering along

Same problem here. 1Gb ethernet, 500Mb Wifi, yet streams on Sky Sports + through Sky Q 1TB have been really poor. Tried a game on Saturday which crashed completley midway through the first half. Tonight, switched through a few different matches and they've been terrible. Constant freezing every 10-20 seconds, only for a second or two, but still makes it unwatchable.

yeah it's shocking - thought I'd give it 3 or 4 matches before diving in to moan, but consistently poor quality picture - stuttering, juddering, pausing.... you name it. chats off to sky for managing to get even worse quality than the red button, that's some achievement!

Yep just watching the football and it keeps freezing and really poor picture. With all the hype from Sky you would have thought they would do better.

It's freezing every few seconds, the game on TV is now way behind. I got a notification on my phone of a goal a good minute before it was scored on screen. The minutes showing at the ground is also 3 minutes more than showing on screen. It's anyone's guess how many minutes they've actually played.

Same for me. Constant freezing stuttering for a few seconds then speeding up to catch up. I have Sky Stream and UHD. Those channels never seem to have an issue, will be of higher capacity. It seems to be with whatever app technology Sky use. Red button was the same.

Had a look at some of the Carabao Cup matches tonight and Everton v Doncaster looks horrid - it's washed out and dull. Crystal Palace v Norwich looks better but is way too oversaturated. I know screening so many matches takes a lot of resources but there should at least be some consistency.
