      <title>Picture Quality breaking up</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&amp;nbsp; Thanks in advance for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp; have a Sky Q box which has suddenly started to suffer from&amp;nbsp; break up of the pictire. Ih appens on all 'live' TV channels and all recordings (although they have been watched previoulsy with no issues)&amp;nbsp; I have the same problem with On deamnd programmes and Apps such as Neftlix and Amazon Prime..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The picture break up lasts 2-3 seconds at a time (see belpw), then clears to a regular picture for roughy the same preiod, before reverting back to the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've replaced the HDMI lead in the hope this would solve the problem, but with no luck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Sky Engineer booked for a home visit, but the earlist available is in 10 days time (not ideal!)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a technophobe, I'd appreciet any help anyone can give.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Danny&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="20240807_123840.jpg" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/102337i8C94CE0A6CC69A65/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="20240807_123840.jpg" alt="20240807_123840.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The key information is that it's happening from previously good recordings and apps, because that would tend to indicate it's &lt;STRONG&gt;not&lt;/STRONG&gt; a dish issue (which would only affect live broadcast content)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Personally I'd suggest calling back and arranging a box swap-out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi - yeah just unplugged it and leff it for five minutes. I the had a blank, black screen with&amp;nbsp; "Check Import Source and Device Power" meassge, but this is also flickering and rolling like the picture did..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Plugged everything back in on Q box and the Sound Box and unfortuntely still have the same porblem&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
