      <title>TV Apps access issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've come back from holiday and Sky box not working properly and i can't access any Apps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I go to the Home section - I get the following message 'Please insert your viewing card with the chip facing up'&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't have a viewing card - I gave it to the engineer who installed the box and they didn't give it back to me,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise what I need to do to access Apps&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Well firstly you'll need to call Sky and arrange for a viewing card to be posted out to you. Are you sure the card isn't in the box? I'm not sure how the engineer tested the set up after installation and gave you a quick demo when there wasn't a viewing card in the box. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4144446"&gt;@WB72&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;to be able to watch any of the Sky channels you need a viewing card so if you could watch them before you went on holiday you will have a viewing card&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;look at the right hand side of your main Q box towards the front there is a slot and a few millimeters of the viewing card will be sticking out. If you push the card it it should then spring out&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try giving the chip a wipe with a dry soft cloth tnen re-inserting the card pushing it in firmly ubtil you hear it clicking&lt;/P&gt;</description>
