Hi We have a sky mini box. Having a few issues. It's started making noise when turning on. (Cracking). Sometimes it starts up with screen having a pink tint. Turn it off and on again and it usually fixes itself. Last few days it's been more difficult to start up. Just wondering if maybe it's time for a new one.

Hi @Fontwell

Makesure that the HDMI lead is fully located at both ends. Try another lead if you have one.

Then try a Reset Settings in the mini box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.

After the Reset you will have to re pair your mini Bluetooth remote.
If you cannot switch the mini box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Hi tried this. Had a few problems restarting and kept flashing up pink. Managed to get it up and running. Will see how it goes.
