Updates on sky q constantly

Just curious.......

When I update the sky q box or mini boxes to latest software and go through all the stages and then go back again to check software , it always says update to latest software and I have to do it all over again and again and again.

Is this normal ? It says update successful etc but weird that it always needs one.

Sorry if I'm not understanding but would rather check.

The message is rather misleading as it will always offer the option to update to the latest software even when you are on it
