270 update

Woke up to Main and mini box powered off this. Oning on Turing on greater with an accessibility update which has introduced a screen magnifier option.

A little misleading title as it's only the Tv guide that is increased (by 150%) stil a very welcome improvement, however, it would be better if it had a couple of options 125 & 150 perhaps as on my 55" screen it's far too big but on smaller screens it's perfect and why just the TV Guide if we need it we need it on everything 😉!

One thing I have noticed early there is a substantial lag in the main Sky Q box is substantial when compared to the mini isn't it usually the other way around Sports Fans won't be happy as they will hear goal cheers etc from neighbours well before they see the action. 🤦‍♂️

You can 'force' the update to install by selecting it from the menu

Hi @Stephen+Mourton Information Technology 101: DR stands for Disaster Recovery. Crowdstrike could have learnt from Sky. When a software update is released, the last stable published version is saved in the DR Stream so if a bad update is released, there is a path to recover from the disaster. In this case Q260 was held in the DR Stream while Q270 was automatically released in batches to customers. Once Sky we're confident Q270 was not a disaster, they updated the DR Stream to Q270. This is relevant to people like me, as I never appear to get the automatic update. I manually updated all my boxes from Q260 to Q270.

I've just noticed that when scrolling live TV channels, going backwards from 101 takes you into the radio section rather than to Channel 998.
