      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently bought this new tv. Most content looks great, however on recorded/downloaded HDR content the tv dims significantly. &lt;P&gt;It is very likely that your TV does not have a bright enough peak brightness to work with the type of HDR that SKY uses which as you have read is called HLG.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This type of HDR needs a screen with a peak brightnes of at least 600 nits (aka cd/m2) - unfortunately you may not be able to find this detail in any specifications.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Streaming apps such Netflix, Disney+ &amp;amp; Prime do not use thiis type of HDR which do not cause any dimming&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It may be possible that playing with the Settings you may be able to get a watchable picture&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What does the picture look like watching UHD contenton the inbuilt iPlayer ?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
