Have just been forced to change to skyq today. Where is the dismiss button on remote. Simple question but can't find details of remote keys on any sky help

The dismiss button is to the left of the 🏠 button.

To the left of the home button. Out of interest, how exactly were you 'forced' to change to Q?

Thanks for this, not sure why they didn't just say back button. Forced to change as Sky+ will no longer be supported by Sky, usually when that happens it immediately goes wrong.
