Hi There,

My sky Q box has been hardwired, via TP link Powerline plugs for the last 4 years quite happily.

I don't have a Sky router, I use Ubiquiti Dream Machine, and as we all know Sky H/W is not happy connecting to none sky routers for its own mesh. If I try an connect via WiFi it will stay connected for about 2 mins.

So for the last 4 years my Sky Q and SkyQ mini have all being playing nicely and connecting to my router hardwired via the TP link Powerline plugs. Until yesterday! Now I just get the 'No IP obtained' Error message.

So far I have

Rebooted the router at least 3 times

turned off the Sky Q at least 3 time

Gone into the engineer menu '001' and disabled the Wifi twice, It seems to turn itself on again

renabdled Wifi in a vain attempt to get that working, worked for 2 mins

disabled Wifi

tried reconnecting via wired, it failed to obtain an IP

Any other suggestions ? I'm slightly baffeled

Thanks

Michael

After much trouble shooting, it turned out that two off my four tplink devices died at the same time!

Replacement devices now installed, everything working as normal
