Paramountplus activation solved 👌

After a frustrating day I finally managed to get free paramountplus .

After having fibre broadband the engineer offered me free sky cinema for 1 mth this included paramountplus but it needed activation .The mysky route didn't work the sky.com/paramountplus-activation didn't work .So in desperation I downloaded a QR code reader from playstore and bingo .Read the QR code on the paramountplus screen using the reader ,opened the link and followed the instructions .Problem solved .

I then uninstall the QR reader ,although it's not a big file 8MB, I didn't need it anymore.

Fair comment @StevieNick1 but I wouldn't have downloaded a QR reader from playstore alot safer to use the one inbuilt one via the camera app on your mobile device

Didn't realise Paramount was free wirh a free trial of Sky Cinema as both would need to be cancelled straight away as it doesn't cancel automatically

I don't have Sky Cinema but did take up the Paramount 12 month free offer via Sky VIP.

Theres no QR reader on my camera app unfortunately ,it's a bit old 🥸 , also the paramountplus cancels automatically if I cancel Sky cinema.

If you haven't got it via Sky Market place I'd be a tad worried

As @TimmyBGood mentions in a previous post Paramount Plus is not available during Sky Cinema trial

I'd be checking my account daily for any unauthorised transactions on my account😱

Seems like things have changed ,it is free with a sky cinema subscription and trial .I've got it 😉
