Sky hub is a wired connection not wireless. Wireless signal checker says it's all good. Issues persist after a restart.

When using the apps on my sky q box, ie YouTube, netflix, Disney they all buffer within seconds of starting and do not load or play. Only happens on the sky box. Other connected devices run fine. Software and hardware are all up to date. Only 4 devices connect to hub.

As it is only the Sky Q box that is buffering then one needs to confirm the wireless signal is strong enough for it to work correctly. If it keeps buffering then contact Sky for them to fix the issue.

Is the WiFi on the Q box definitely switched off?

When the Sky Q box is wired to the router then one can get LAN broadcast storm issues which is a design fault with Sky Q, it would be good to establish whether you have throughput issues and a speed test should be done on an alternative wired/wireless device to establish that the broadband is fine incoming. A post of the router stats would be useful as would historical data from the Sky App confirming that one is getting the speed advertised and guaranteed by Sky for your broadband.
