topic Sky Q Installation in Sky Q

My Sky Q couldn't be installed in March as the existing dish 'involved climbing a ladder' (quite) - however the alternative location for a second dish was having building work completed. The engineer wouldn't leave the box with me (against the rules), so said he'd come back. 3 months on and the building work is now complete and the dish mounted, so I now need to book an engineer - However, the 'clever' Sky automated system insists that I need to use this Community forum, where a member of staff will assist if the community can't install my dish .... so can someone from the community either pop round with a Sky Q box and fit it, or perhaps a Member of Sky Staff could assist....

Sure - and thank you - however the IVR routine didn't offer the option of 'stay on the line if you need to speak with someone'.
I've redialled and chosen the 'I'd like to buy something' route, which unsurprisingly is answered by a person. 15 mins later and they are still in discusiions with varous 'engineering depts' to see if they can help.
Not the best customer experience.
