Tv control through Sky remote

Historically my mum (80 years) has been able to operate her tv via her Sky remote but it recently stopped working. Got a new remote from Sky, tried pairing to tv but says unsupported. She can't use the tv remote as doesn't have the same functionality and she relies on voice control of Sky remote. Help anyone??

What is the make/model of the TV?

The TV is a Panasonic TX-50A300B.

If you've tried to pair your remote using all the Panasonic options and it's not working, try selecting Vestel as the TV brand instead. They manufacture some of the lower end Panasonic models and you should hopefully find one of their codes which works.

Press Home on your Sky Q remote.
Select Settings > Setup > Remote Control.
Select the remote you're using.
Select Control your TV then select your TV brand.
Select Find it for me.
Hold down 1 and 3 together, and enter the code that appears.

Hi @ChriGall

Panasonic shouldn't be an issue.

Try pairing it in Home - Settings - Setup - Remote control if you didn't the first time.

Edit

You still need brand and model. Codes are not used with Bluetooth remotes.
