Free 3 mth trial of Apple tv

I redeemed the 3 mth free Apple tv on My Sky and Sky VIP. It's available to watch for free on my iphone to 6 September but not free on the Sky q app. I've clicked the link again on the sky vip to repeat the process as suggested on another discussion but Apple state I already have the free trial. I've rebooted my Sky q box and still can't access free Apple tv through Sky q app (only the 7 day trial available - not 3 mths). Would appreciate any other suggestions? Is this a My Sky/Sky Vip issue.
