YET again getting dumped from the internet

Its happening with regularity........Today 23/5, every 30 mins or so. Dumps the internet connection. Internet is fine, 100% connected. Go to the home page, no internet, go to settings, its ticked, yes you do.....back to homepage flick around a bit and it magically comes back.......back into apps, back into youtube......wait for it to happen again!

OR watching prime/netflix, 1/2 thru, boom, it goes again.

We got a new Q box last year to see if it was the box. It isnt, its obvs a software/connectivity problem thats been ongoing for years and sky know damn well about it.

Hi @mikal1983 As it is clearly something to do with your infrastructure, else it would be happening to everybody. There are big differences between Sky Broadband and Other ISPs when it comes to Sky Q.

As a Sky Q receiver handles broadband from a third party ISP differently from having Sky as the broadband ISP, asking who is your ISP could well be relevant in establishing what is actually causing your particular connectivity problem.

Rubbish, you obvs have zero idea on ISP;s and broadband. IF there was a problem with MY ISP then it would affect more than just the Q box, but it doesnt. To say it would there for affect everyone shows how little you know about internet technology and electronics. My Honda car broke down the other day....Did ALL Hindas break down with the same defect!

The problem with Q boxes being dumped is well recorded and goes back years. Sky KNOWS theres a problem concerning it yet does nothing!

@mikal1983 Is the connection between your broadband router and Sky Q receiver using WiFi or an Ethernet cable.

Wifi as my laptop and Desktop. No probs connecting to Prime/youtube etc with either of them. I also have a plug in connector that uses the house wiring.

Many many others have the same problem.....its not just me and my set up, so dont bog yourself down with that one.
