    <description>&lt;P&gt;Recently had Sky Q installed and the remote was paired with the TV (e.g. holding the power switches both the tv and Q box off), however there is a button or combination of buttons on the remote that is muting the tv - it's not the actual mute button, cause pushing that on &amp;amp; off doesn't rectify the issue. The only solve is switching off and on both the tv and Q box via holding the power button.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas please?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It's not likely to be the Q remote if it has Voice control. &amp;nbsp;That's because when paired to the Qbox it uses Blutooth.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your TV control needs infrared. &amp;nbsp;Only the following buttons on the remote use infrared.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Standby button&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Volume up/down&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Mute&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Input Select (changes TV HDMI inputs)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you checked to see if the volume down button the remote is not sticking? &amp;nbsp;If it is it will reduce the TV Volume to Zero&lt;/P&gt;</description>
