I see quite a few people on here having satellite signal issues. Mine has now starting showing the same. Is there some kind of general sky problem. It is a beautiful day here and now I have 0 signal. Never had it before.

If there was a general issue with the satellite it would affect all Q and Plus users. Whenever a “no satellite signal” message is displayed firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Also check out the troubleshooting on this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish.

A misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels. If you’re on a communal dish you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.

A misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels as you've seen. If you’re on a communal dish you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.

Having a complete mare with no signal for about a week now. It was pixelating a little to begin with but seemed to sort itself out. Mornings for some reason are worse than evenings. Some channels are more viewable than others. Some are completely blacked out with no signal. It's everyday now.

Done all the checks etc and nothing is wrong. It could be atmospherics but it's not as if there is a website you can check if your area is effected. Saying that, the weather is pretty normal, not too hot or cold, no rain for ages, no high winds. I have a few trees that are pretty tall now about 100 feet away, but they have had their leaves in bloom for a month now and I didn't have an issue a month ago.

I did have an issue where sky apologised for freezing the box one night recently. There engineers were doing stuff remotely that caused the issue.

I don't know if it's connected or not. I don't want to pay for someone to come out.

Daz
