A Mini box won't use that WiFi: it wants its signal to come from another item of Sky hardware. You could try a Q wireless booster, but Sky themselves will not supply one of those to get a signal to an external location.

I have just added another mini box to my system. I am using it outside in a garden room but it's finding it difficult to connect to the main box. Is there any way of connecting it to my router ? I get a strong wifi signal in there but it is virgin media as openreach have failed to upgrade my area with full fibre just yet. Thanks in advance

Sky glass isn't really an option for me. Also the faster broadband speed BT can offer at my address is upto 40mb
