@Wibbly-Woo Unlikely if it was moved by other tradesmen. There will likely be a charge for sky coming out (all you can do is call and see) and the same if you used an independent.

You'll need to call Sky but they usually charge around £65 … and then another £65 once the scaffolding is removed if the dish needs moving again.

It won't be free.

They re-aligned my dish for free after our scaffolders whacked the dish during some exterior work a few years ago. Once the scaffolding was down I contacted Sky, an engineer came and did the re-alignment in a matter of minutes - no charge.

I'll rephrase my reply. If the scaffolding is still up and the dish needs moving (if there is a suitable position) to get a satellite signal Sky will usually charge about £65.

The dish doesn't need reinstalling - just pointing at the satellite - the scaffolders knocked it out of alignment and the signal is dodgy (BBC1 totally gone - others keep on breaking up)

If the scaffolders knocked it out of alignment then the scaffolders need to foot the bill for getting an engineer out to realign the satellite dish if asthe call out is not free.

As @Padam_Padam stated the scaffolding was removed before he called a Sky engineer so no evidence of it being whacked by a scaffolder then
