Moving the main box

I have a wired connection from the dish to three rooms in my house, only one is in use because the only other TV is reached using wi-fi with repeater boxes. I want to move the main box.. Can I connect the main box to any of the three wired connections and if so, can the repeater coxed be left where they are, or will they need to be resited?

Hi @Eleffbee

Unless you have a Hybrid LNB on the dish all three twin coax cables are unlikely to be connected. In this case you would need to swop the cables over at the dish if they haven't been cut off.

Ok @Eleffbee

If it is an early version which is completely universal then all outputs will work with Q.

However later versions had specific outputs for Sky Q and legacy Sky+. In this case you may have to swap the cables at the LNB.

Best thing to do is try it.

The original universal LNB is an EL 010
