Sky Q dropping internet

My broad (not provided by sky) is very fast and working fine, yet my Sky Q keeps dropping connection. Can anyone offer any help? Been happening regulary for months now

@Ems2387Is it your main box or a mini you are having issues with? The easiest solution if its just one box and its close to the router is wire it in with ethernet.

Hey, it's the main box. Which is connected via an Ethernet cable, so I'm unsure what the next step is

@Ems2387Do you have any minis or just a main box? If just a main box turn WiFi off totally on the Q box from the installer menu. Highlight settings, type 001 then select and turn off both WiFi bands. If you have minis you cant do this though unless they are wired in. See if that helps. Next step would be try a different ethernet cable. I assume your broadband is fine otherwise and no issues, its just the q box.

Yeah I have a mini upstairs that runs on wifi. Obviously that has issues when the main box.
