Sky Q could not find Virgin Broadband router

Hi All, My Sky Q could not find my newly installed Virgin hub3 router, after faffing about for 30 mins, went into the router settings and discovered my techy son had disabled 2.4GHz wifi, only 5 GHz enabled when he visited at weekend. Reenabled 2.4GHz on router settings and what do you know Sky Q found my router. Put this post on as may help.

My understnanding is that with non sky bb the boxes will only connect to 2.4 and the 5ghz is reserved for communication between the boxes themselves.
