My PIN number doesn’t work

I have had SKY for years but not used it fully, when asked for my PIN number I assumed it was for additional programmes that I wasn't paying for. However I wanted to watch Bridgerton and an engineer who had renewed our satellite dish said it wanted the last four digits of my account number (I thought hurrah I could access loads of progs that were included in my package) but it won't accept either my account number or my viewing card number. I can't even reset my pin as it won't recognise my account number. Please help

Normally the Q PIN number is the last four digits of your viewing card number.

Failing this see the following help

Blocked your PIN by entering it incorrectly too many times? You'll need to wait for it to unblock. Wait ten minutes, then try again.

No: that would only for Sky Store purchases, film rentals prior to Sky Cinema release, and Pay Per View sporting events. In all of these cases the additional cost should be clearly identified.

The main application of a PIN in the EPG is for what Ofcom calls Mandatory Daytime Protection where 'post watershed' content on a subscription channel is being broadcast or downloaded for viewing before 21:00
