Do you need to have sky broadband to downgrade to sky essentials.

I can't see anything online that states you do but did read on another forum someone was told no unless had broadband as well

@PAISLEYALD

TV Essentials and Essential Broadband are different products, which have sometimes been co-sold as Sky Essentials. It should be possible to have either by itself.

I believe Sky has now dropped the Essential branding from broadband products: the lowest mainstream tier is now Superfast 35 (except in the very rare locations where only ADSL is available)

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/tv-essentials

Obviously Sky might well encourage (and incetivise) broadband switching during a conversation about TV Essentials, but can't insist on it.
