Help remote is broken ...yes I've tried 3 different batteries that are working in TV remot ! Have an android phone not an apple so how can we change channels without remote ?!

Hi @Julie171

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
With the Q box on with green led
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

If the Q box is not on try pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box. Then reset the remotes as above

Unfortunately, as you may have found out, the Virtual remote on SKY go is still only available on apple devices.

Please may I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared

If that doesn't work there is a possibility that there is an Android 3rd party app that might work but I don't know for sure.

Thank you that didn't work but made us know remote was still active turned box off at plug and seems OK now !

Glad you have got it all working now.

As an emergency backup in future, there is an app on android called 'Sky Q Free Remote' I've used in the past that does work. To save getting it mixed up with others it appears as a square Blue app with a large white 'Q' on it. There are probably other android apps around as well that probably work, but I havn't needed to try them.
