Sky Q with LG TV issue

I've just connected Sky Q box to my LG tv and all is working fine except for one thing. When I switch the TV off using the Sky control the screen goes off (dark) then maybe 10 seconds later the screen comes alive with a bright screen saver saying no signal. I've tried the usual work your way through the 24 codes fix but none of them work. Any suggestions? It seems that some LG TV's and SkyQ aren't compatible

To switch off the TV, it's a long press on the standby button. (Hold until tv goes off)

To switch off the Sky Q, it's a short press on the standby button.

@MarkNT I have the LG UK6300PLB connected to my Sky Q box it's always been for me a long press on the Sky Q remote off button to turn the tv off

So I normally use the LG Magic remote as I don't always want the Sky Q box on when the tv is turned on which happens with the Sky Q remote

Also the LG Magic remote operates the Sky Q box once set up in Device Connector

Thanks for the reply. The problem with a long press on the standby button is that the tv won't switch on after that. You have to use the LG remote to switch the tv back on then select HDMI 1 to get Sky back up and running. So not that practical

Thanks for the reply. The LG magic remote is too complicated for mum (dementia). That's why the Sky remote is so great.

it's a long press to turn the tv on as well as off.
