topic Satellite signal message in Sky Q

Hi, I just had a new sky box fitted in this week by a member of staff from Sky. Two days later the message 'This channel is currently affected by a problem with your satellite signal' appears on all channels. We have tried switching the Sky box on and off but the message still appears. Our neighbours satellite signal is fine. We do not understand why we are having this issue. What can we do to resolve this?

@Mikail1
Whenever a “no satellite signal” message is displayed firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Also check out the troubleshooting on this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange another engineer to check the alignment of your dish.

It’s not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

You mention your neighbours signal. Are you on a communal dish set up? If you are you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.
