topic remote broken in Sky Q

Downloaded sky+ but cant use it as a remote as there is no feature for it, it says click setting in the corner of the app but this does not exist, is there anyway to change channels without a remotr

the SKY+ app was not for SKY Q

If you have an IOS device the latest version of SKY Go (the current app) has a virtual remote but if you only have Android or PC this feature is not yet available unfortunately.

I believe there may be some 3rd party apps but I am not usre

Thanks, i will have to check, this is a major design fault for Sky

You can purchase a new remote for Sky Q from most major supermarkets or Argos etc or if you follow this link it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (apparently this is not available to customers in the ROI).
