No voice control on replacement sky q remote.

I have just received a free sky q remote replacement and it hasn't got voice control. Is it normal practice to send out the basic version.

Hi @MikeGreg the old remote version had the voice button on the right edge of the remote, the replacement version should have a blue voice control button on the face of the remote in the centre.

hi @MikeGreg

In addition to what @Quoman7 says about some older remotes having a side button for voice the remote must be paired to the box (via bluetooth) to use voice control

If you need to, try a reset of your remote :

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
