Volume setting not showing on screen ?

Hi guys posting this on behalf of my elderly parents. They have an LG tv and LG Soundbar and have the sky tv sound going thru the Soundbar which is controlled via the sky remote . Unfortunately although the sound via the Soundbar works fine the onscreen display of the sound level is not showing up .

Had a quick look for them and reset the remote the sky remote by pressing and holding 7 and 9 on the sky remote and then 1 and 3 and setting up the sky remote and additional Soundbar from the menu shown but although it paired fine and sound still worked fine no on screen display ?

anyone kindly advise exactly what I need to do ? Had a uick google search and someone had a similar issue and it was suggested he had to pair the remote to the tv and then add the Soundbar but to be honest lost with that ?!!

hi @Jono400

Unfortnately this is nothing to do with the SKy Q or the SKY remote - resetting the remote would gain you nothing as it is controlling the volume

Any on-screen display is down to the TV and/or Soundbar - thus you may wish to seek out the manuals or look on LG forums

Okay thanks so much I know he did have it but must have altered a setting as lost the display recently .

LG Support would appear to suggest that volume level will only appear on screen when the internal television speakers are in use (which would make sense)
