&lt;P&gt;It does sound like your dish might be slightly out of alignment.&amp;nbsp;Whenever a “no satellite signal” message is displayed firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Also check out the troubleshooting on this link &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It’s not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels. If you’re on a communal dish you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Issues with ITV</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Suddenly having issues with watching ITV channels. Initially said no satellite signal being received on all channels. Down powered and turned back on. Now all itv channels pixelating. All other channels fine. Signal strength and quality fine. Any ideas guys?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This is more likely a problem with your Communal distribution system and needs to be addressed by whoever looks after your system&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Also many Communal systems can be upgraded to work with SKY Q but again it is down to the Communal system being able to be adapted&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you only have SKY + (SD only)&amp;nbsp; box&amp;nbsp; rather than a SKY HD box then you will are likely to have lost BBC &amp;amp; ITV channels and will soon loose more channels as the old SD only boxes cannot decode HD channels and the SKY SD chanels that are changing transmission modes in the near future&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have a SKY HD box then these changes should not affect you and you have been mis-informed&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;SKY Stream works via the internet and you need a good stable connection for that (which you may have)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;is not applicable to you with a SKY +HD box - SKY HD boxes are quite capable of working with the ITV channels (hence my initial reply about your communal system)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;SKY Stream is quite a different product&amp;nbsp; - many people like it but other people that have been used to Satellite boxes (SKY HD &amp;amp; SKY Q) are not so keen&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I can't really advise other than suggest if you think you might switch that you do some research&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;BTW SKY Q also has quite a different user Interface to SKY HD that many don't like (there are other diffferences but if you can;t get it I won't link to my notes on that)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

On top of that they said they will *not* be sending an engineer out given my Sky +HD box is not compatible with ITV anymore. It makes no sense to me but I am furious.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, SKY have actually stopped supporting&amp;nbsp; SKY HD boxes so wouldn't send an engineer&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;- for box issues themselves you would need to look at second hand SKY HD boxes or to upgrade to Q / switch to Stream&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As I say, there is not an issue with SKY HD boxes receiving ITV channels so the problem will be in your Communal distribution system &amp;amp; needs to be looked at by whoever maintains it&lt;/P&gt;

Sky+HD boxes are still capable of receiving the ITV channels, regardless of what Sky may have told you (presumably to encourage you to switch to one of the other TV platforms)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am *not* eligible for a Sky Q box, and I don't want Sky Streaming Puck. I have a 31 day cooling off period and really need to think of next steps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
